Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. In 2000, he started his career in acting by appearing in TV series such as Opposite sexual sex. Following his appearance in a variety of films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for portraying the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in films based on comics and graphic novels. These include TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His fame grew due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel films have made him one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors.
