MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is influenced through his worldwide popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, his smash hit of 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. He then joined Ozuna for The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In 2020, he dropped the album that charted Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia alongside Noriel. In 2021, he was in a duet with TINI on her cult music video Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo's parents and brothers also played instruments when the time he was born. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. As a child, he was instructed to perform on the piano, saxophone and guitar. The first choice for his career was to become a vet But his older brother Julian was able to convince him singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. The result was finding out that he was blessed with talents for singing, changed the direction of his life.
