Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of classical music and old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of the traditional Latin American music at private performances. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
